Tetsuya Nakamura

Biography

After graduating from the Faculty of Science at Kyoto University, Dr Nakamura studied for a Diplom degree at the University of Tübingen (Germany) and obtained his PhD at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (USA).

Nakamura's research interest is in theories of surface in three-dimensional space (hyperbolic, Euclidean, and Sphere).

Parallel to his research, his interest in education lead him to teach mathematics in various places, giving lectures and practical training at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Hartsbrook High School and Wilhelm Sickert High School.
