Tomoe Hirai

Biography

Hirai holds a master's degree in TESOL from the University of Edinburgh. She has worked to promote global education as well as English language teaching at senior high schools in Aichi Prefecture. She has practised a variety of teaching methods in English language education and has always been passionate about providing appropriate education to a diverse student population. In the area of global education, she has arranged study abroad programmes in New Zealand, Australia and Canada, and has led high school students to Taiwan, New Zealand and Australia. She has also participated in various volunteer activities during her school years, and has worked as an ALT in Japanese language classes at a secondary school in New Zealand and taught Japanese language and culture at a Japanese language school in Japan. At NUCB International College, she intends to make the most of her experience and knowledge and engage in education with sincerity.
