About this event
Our popular event is back this year! We are pleased to announce that we will host our third edition of the NIC Family One-Day experience, for parents and children. We have prepared a programme to enjoy experiencing our school facilities, education and school life in our state-of-the-art international dormitory and school building. For parents, there will be a school information session and a time for a consultation session where you can talk directly to the teaching staff and admissions officers.
Be part of the NIC family for one day and enjoy the variety of programmes to give you an insight into life as a boarder. Events include IB workshops in English with NIC teachers so you can experience the Case Method. Engage Programme sports activities.
This is a special occasion where you can experience the full appeal of our school so we look forward to seeing you there.

*Our guests are welcome to use either public transport or a private car to reach our campus. For those arriving by public transport, a free shuttle bus to the campus will depart from Komenoki Station. If you wish to use this service, please make a reservation from the application form.
Target group
- Year 8 to Year 9 Japanese middle school or 13~14 y.o international school pupils
- First-year high school students considering transferring
- Children with at least conversational English proficiency（CEFR B1 and above）
※Parents' participation is recommended but not a requirement to join the event

We will show you the value and appeal of our boarding house, the International Baccalaureate education and the MBA case method.

Case Method Mock Lesson
This is your chance to experience the case method teaching approach. We have selected a topic adapted to high school students so that everyone can immediately actively participate.

Campus Tour
Our friendly students will take you on a tour of our state-of-the-art teaching facilities, including the school building and the Boarding House.

Lunch
Lunch will be provided to all our guests. The same nutritious & well-balanced meal that our students enjoy every day at the International House.

Engage Programme
At NIC, we learn also outside of the classroom. Try out our extra-curricular activities at the excellent facilities of our beautiful Campus.

Our students have put together an attractive programme to celebrate the coming festive season together.
