Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Misaki and I am a 8th-grade student.

Why did you choose to join the NIC Summer School?

I wanted to join NIC Summer School because I am interested in NUCB International College for high school and I thought it was also a good opportunity to make new friends.

Which activities have you enjoyed the most so far?

I really enjoyed the fireworks activity on the third day of the programme. It was fun and we also had time to talk with our friends as well.

How many new friends have you made so far?

Lots! Everyone is so kind and funny. I think that my friends would love to make friends here while doing fun activities.

Which activity required the most effort to work together as a team?

The UN SDGs: Design the perfect SDGs school and the Case study challenge required the most effort to work as a team. We had to communicate efficiently and work hard together.

How has NIC Summer School changed your understanding of diversity, communication and working together?

During the Summer School, I worked together with people I met only a few days ago so it was really interesting. I also learned a lot from other people's cultures.

Finally, what advice would you give to a student thinking about joining NIC Summer School next year?

It is really fun and definitely worth joining!
