Can you introduce yourself?

My name is Kyusok and I'm currently in 9th grade.

Why did you choose to join the NIC Summer School?

NIC Summer School was introduced at my school which is also supporting the SDGs.

Which activities have you enjoyed the most so far?

I loved the barbecue the most because I was able to make new friends and play together. I have made so many friends, more than you can actually think of! I really enjoyed everything. It wasn’t just one activity in particular, but all the activities together made this summer school great.

Which activity required the most effort to work together as a team?

I would say that the team-building activities required the most effort. The reason is that during this activity you really need to put real effort into communicating with everyone.

How has NIC Summer School changed your understanding of diversity, communication and working together?

I have a better understanding of diversity. Being able to communicate and do group work with a diverse group of people that I don't usually meet at school really makes a difference.

Finally, what advice would you give to a student thinking about joining NIC Summer School next year?

Don't think, just come! You won't regret it.
