Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

On June 28th, 2025, NUCB International College held its historic first graduation ceremony. We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the 27 students of the class of 2025!

It was an emotional day, with family members visiting from across the globe to celebrate the end of a long journey. Over the past years, we’ve had the privilege of watching these young individuals grow, not only academically but also personally, developing themselves as future leaders and embodying our school's motto of frontier spirit. From the USA to Australia to the United Kingdom, our graduates have received 24 offers from prestigious universities, all ranked within the top 30 of the QS World University Rankings. We can't wait to see what they accomplish in the next steps of their lives.

Thank you very much to the special guests who attended our ceremony, including the Governor of Aichi Prefecture, Mr. Omura. It is thanks to their unwavering support and belief in us over the years that we have been able to reach this important milestone.

During the ceremony, we had the opportunity to hear wonderful speeches from our Principal, Vice Principal, Chancellor, and the Governor of Aichi himself, who presented the most esteemed award possible at NIC, the Governor's Award. In addition, the Head Boy and Head Girl, Hiroyuki and Keeana, gave their final address before passing the torch along to next year's Head Students, Chiyu and Helene. We also heard beautiful music performances from our guest singer Emi Mizutani, who sang the national anthem and school song, as well as a final performance by our Y12 Music students, accompanied by Principal Chaytor himself.

Afterwards, our graduates were met with surprises organised by their juniors. The different Houses prepared various gifts and certificates to show their appreciation to the seniors who have been there for them all these years. This was also the time for yearbook signings, family photo sessions, and, of course, most importantly, the traditional hat toss!

They ended the day with a lunch party; one final meal in the dining hall surrounded by all their friends and family.

After an eventful graduation ceremony, students partied the night away at the student-led NIC Prom. They got dressed up in their best gowns and suits, ate some delicious food, organised fun games and activities, and of course did some dancing. Congratulations once again to the class of 2025, we at NUCB International College are extremely proud to see what you have accomplished during your time here and eagerly await to see what you will do in the future.

With this, our 2024-2025 academic year comes to a close, and summer vacation has officially started!
