Kevin Woo Seok Jung

Biography

Kevin Woo Seok Jung was born in South Korea and raised in Singapore, where he attended an international school and earned his IB Diploma. This early exposure to the IB philosophy, along with the inspiration he received from his own teachers, shaped his desire to pursue education as a lifelong vocation.

He completed a dual master’s degree programme between KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) and the Tokyo Institute of Technology. During this programme, he conducted research in biomimetics and fluid dynamics, focusing on how penguins achieve remarkable efficiency and agility underwater.

Drawing on his own experiences as a former IB student, Kevin is passionate about building students’ confidence and helping them discover abilities and potential they may not have realised they possessed. He strives to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to take on challenges and grow academically and personally.
