Xuedi Pi

Biography

Dr. Xuedi Pi completed her PhD in International Development at Nagoya University and earned a Master’s degree in International Education from the University of Manchester. With over ten years of experience across primary, secondary, and higher education, she combines academic depth with rich classroom practice. Her expertise includes interdisciplinary and inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction, and second-language development.

Dr. Pi has contributed to international projects with UNESCO and UNCRD grounded in the Sustainable Development Goals. Her achievements have been recognised through competitive awards such as the Interdisciplinary Frontier Next-Generation Researcher Program (Tokai Higher Education and Research System) and the JASSO Scholarship.

With extensive experience working across languages and cultures, Dr. Pi works effectively with students from diverse communities. In the classroom, she creates inclusive and supportive environments where students build confidence, critical thinking skills, and a global mindset.
