The Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Founded in 1978, Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences (GSCAS) was the first graduate school in China with the approval of the State Council. Backed by more than one hundred institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS), which are located at more than 20 cities all over the country, GSCAS is headquartered in Beijing, with graduate education bases in Shanghai, Chengdu, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Lanzhou.
