Admissions Guidebook for 2025 Applications Released

NIC will start accepting applications for September 2025 admissions on Tuesday, 1 October. Applications will be open for students who want to join Grade 10 or Grade 11 in September 2025 and students who wish to transfer into Grade 10 in February 2025.

Application Stages and Details

Applicants should commence applications according to their applicant type status and refer to the application stages in the table below. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Important note: Stage 2 and Stage 3 may not open if the full capacity is reached before the start of each respective stage. It is highly recommended that prospective students apply during the 1st stage in order to secure a seat for the 2025 academic year at NIC. Transfer students for February 2025 who require a student visa must apply in stage 1.

Japanese visa or passport holders
Stage 1: October 1 – December 13
Stage 2: January 4 – March 31
Stage 3: April 1 – June 30
Non-Japanese visa or passport holders
Stage 1: October 1 – December 13
Stage 2: January 4 – March 31
Stage 3: April 1 – May 31
