The Sagamine Festival, the school festival jointly held with our affiliate university NUCB, was held at the Nisshin Campus the other day. The festival got off to a grand start with the opening ceremony, held at the entrance on the first floor of the Active Learning Centre of NUCB, with a speech delivered by Chancellor Hiroyuki Kurimoto. The Nagoya University of Commerce and Business Symphonic Ensemble added to the ceremony with their performance.
NIC students had a booth to introduce their SDG activities. The students designed games such as "Carta", ring-toss and quizzes. This was a great opportunity to interact with visitors and to inform them about the SDGs they had learnt about in class. Many people, from young children to adults, visited the booth and enjoyed learning about the SDGs through the activities organised by the students. It was also a valuable opportunity for the students to present the results of their daily studies.
