Erika holds a Master’s degree in Speech Communication, specializing in interpersonal and public communication. Although she initially envisioned a career in journalism, her path led her to education, where she discovered a passion for helping others communicate with clarity and confidence. While completing her Master’s degree, she worked full-time, an experience that reflects the dedication and discipline she brings to both her teaching and professional life.
With over 10 years of experience teaching English language and communication arts across diverse student levels, Erika combines academic expertise with real-world insight from her background in business and customer service. She is committed to helping students build confidence, think critically, and communicate effectively in both professional and everyday contexts. She has also served as a head coach for speech competitions, guiding students to present their ideas with clarity, purpose, and impact.
Erika believes that communication, while often taken for granted, is a vital tool for shaping meaningful human connections. She values dedication, perseverance, and growth, and strives to create a supportive learning environment where students can develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
