About this event

NUCB International College will be holding its Autumn Open Campus on Saturday, 27 January. This is an opportunity for students to experience the case method teaching approach, as well as get a first insight into what life as a boarding student in a multicultural college environment will be like at our campus and ask any questions that you may have. Guests will be offered a visit inside the School building and Boarding facilities. The event is open to all students middle-school-age students and their families, and anybody who would just like to know more about the college.

If you are coming by public transportation, free shuttle buses are available from Meitetsu Kurozasa station. If you would like to use this service, please make a reservation on the registration form.

Content

1. School Information Session
Introduction to the benefits of an International Baccalaureate DP, the MBA-style case method education and the boarding school system
2. Case method mock lesson
Attend a case method class and have a first taste of what a class will be at NIC
3. Tour of NIC teaching and boarding facilities
The tour includes the teaching facilities building and the international dormitory.
4. Individual consultation
Our admission adviser will answer any questions you may have about NIC, and future pathways.
5. Lunch at the International House
The meal is served and guests are welcome to eat together with our teachers and staff.
6. Essay Writing Workshop
You will be taught tips on how to write an impactful essay in English.
