PICK UP

  • IB Group 1, Languages - English A and Japanese A

Group 1 classes explore language and literature in a student's first language. We will be observing both English A and Japanese A which are the two language options offered at our school. Students will be analysing novels, screenplays, or poetry as part of their lessons.

  • IB Group 3, Humanities - Geography, History and Business Management

The geography IB programme enables students to develop an understanding of the dynamic interrelationships between people, places, spaces, and the environment at different scales. IB history explores world history based on a comparative, multi-perspective approach to history and focused around key historical concepts such as change, causation, and significance. Students in IB business management learn to analyse, discuss and evaluate business activities at local, national and international levels.

  • IB Group 4, Sciences - Physics and Biology

Physics promotes global scientific appreciation and creativity, focusing on acquiring and using scientific knowledge, methods, and communication skills. It aims to develop critical thinking and teamwork, enhance experimental and technological abilities, and foster ethical awareness. It also highlights how science connects with other areas of knowledge. Biology explores genetics, biochemistry, human anatomy, and more. As with other sciences, this subject involves practical experiments, scientific investigations, and groupwork.

  • Physical Education

Although not part of the IB curriculum, Physical Education is extremely important in promoting healthy lifestyles in students. NIC has access to various sports facilities which are shared with the university campus. Students can participate in unique sports at our school including golf and Japanese archery.

  • Orientation & School Information Session

We will show you the value and appeal of our boarding house, the International Baccalaureate education and the MBA case method.

  • Individual Consultation

If you have any questions regarding our programme, boarding house, admission procedure, scholarships, and such, our staff will be glad to answer them during an individual consultation. Let's clear up any doubts you have before the enrollment!
