Students in the B1 class of the Bridging Programme presented on Folk Heroes in History class today, demonstrating what they’ve learned about the hero’s culture in the past 2 weeks. Paired students walked teachers through an interactive powerpoint presentation on their folk hero, and ended with questions and a quiz.
The four heroes presented today were Cu Chulainn from Ireland, King Arthur from England, Anansi from West Africa, and Roland from France. Students were creative in the way they quizzed teachers, such as using handmade cardboard swords, pictures, and kahoot. Lots of laughter was heard from the students, and they seemed to have enjoyed the whole process.
