Last Saturday, our first NUCB International College (NIC) on-site information session was held successfully.

In light of the Covid situation, sanitary measures were carefully applied in order to guarantee a safe and secure conduct of the event.

While participants were introduced to NIC and its programme, they learned also about our admissions requirements and our scholarship offering.

NIC will be the only High school in Japan to bring together the unique combination of MBA case method, IB diploma programme and also a boarding school. The case method style of teaching and learning is widely used in many of the leading business school in the world and yet rarely applied to a high school situation. In that regard, a case method mock lesson was conducted in order to familiarize the young students with the method. The session questioned the students about the optimal solution in the context of the development of a business in Nagoya. The Principal, Mr Dennis Kelly, was also present and said a few words to welcome the candidates. Later, individual counselling sessions followed the mock class for a personal follow-up.

NIC Applications will open in October 2021 for our first cohort of Year 10 students enrolling in September 2022. If you are interested in learning more about our new school, please consider attending one of our coming online information sessions.  The next session in English will be held at 9:00 a.m. Japan time (JST) on Thursday 18 March and 9:00 a.m. (JST) on Saturday 20 March.
You can reserve your place here.
